On July 13, 1995, Judeo-Christian Outreach Center (JCOC) became the official name of the organization.

WDI

WDI

The heart of our mission is equipping African Christian women to disciple other African women. Women's Discipleship International (WDI) focuses on developing mature disciples of Christ who will be able to teach and equip others and impact their communities.

WDI discipleship training has two essential components: biblical/theological training and building healthy relationships-with God, with each other, and within the community.

Men's Discipleship International is an affiliated ministry that evolved when they saw the transformation in their women leaders and started asking "What about us"?

Since training started in 2016 the women have begun an annual Women's Empowerment Conference, helped disciple women leaders in remote communities and other countries...and are excited about what God is doing next!

INTERVARSITY  Conn0r Clark

INTERVARSITY  Conn0r Clark

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a college campus ministry seeking to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed. InterVarsity has a passion for a small group study, student leadership development, and building missional communities. Sharing a similar longing for revival at Spring Branch, InterVarsity catalyzes movements that call every corner of every campus to the southside of coastal Virginia. InterVarsity services the students at Tidewater Community College and Old Dominion University. We are also praying for students at Regent University and Virginia Wesleyan.

Ministry contributions for InterVarsity support Connor Clark, Area Director for Coastal Virginia. Connor grew up in Spring Branch and lives in Williamsburg, VA with his wife, Tess, and daughter, Lucy. Connor’s ministry with InterVarsity includes serving as a campus minister, coaching staff teams, ministry planting at unreached schools, and coordinating regional camps and conferences. InterVarsity has ministry in Coastal Virginia serving W&M, CNU, VPCC, ODU, TCC, and Regent.

You can reach out to Connor and discuss how your support can continue the ministry on college campuses around our area. Email him at connor.clark@intervarsity.org.

YOUNG LIFE CARRIBEAN Scott Hamilton

YOUNG LIFE CARRIBEAN Scott Hamilton

Scott directed the ministry of Young Life for 40 years in many cities in the USA. He transitioned and took the position of starting Young Life ministries covering the English speaking islands in the Caribbean. He is tasked with finding and training indigenous leaders who will share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their teenage friends and help grow in their faith.

In the last few years, the ministry of Young Life has grown in the Bahamas and started in Trinidad.

Currently, he is starting a special needs ministry (Capernaum) in Barbados as well as traditional ministry in St. Lucia and Jamaica. He is seeking God's leading for the other 21 island nations relying heavily on the power of prayer.

Scott can only do Young Life Ministry by raising the funds to support him. If you feel passionate about young people in other countries reach out to Scott and he can tell you how you can support him in living out sharing the Gospel to an area of our world that would not normally have access to it.

Lynne Monroe

Lynne Monroe

Lynne heard about a need at Jacox Elementary, a Title 1 School in Norfolk, years ago. She has since been the liaison between Jacox and Spring Branch.

Here is how we have served them:
  • Thanksgiving baskets for families.
  • Backpacks for back to school.
  • Reading program for students at Jacox.
  • Celebration lunches and breakfasts for the teachers and Principal.

Here is how you can serve as the church:
  • Donate for the backpack drive and the Thanksgiving basket drive. We will make those opportunities public at specific times of the year.
